About Ritchie Street Group Practice
At Ritchie Street Group Practice, our mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality, and accessible healthcare to our community.
Rooted in nearly a century of service since the 1920s, we are proud to care for almost 17,135 patients from our modern, purpose-built health centre in the heart of Islington.
We are committed to making healthcare easy to access — open six days a week, including evenings and Saturdays, with a fully wheelchair-accessible building, ground-floor consultation rooms, and a welcoming environment for all.
Our multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, health visitors, dieticians, midwives, mental health specialists, and allied health professionals work together to deliver personalised care. We partner closely with University College London Hospital and The Whittington Hospital, and we train the next generation of doctors to uphold the highest standards of medical practice.
From our breastfeeding and nappy-change facilities to our on-site pharmacy, every detail is designed with your comfort, dignity, and convenience in mind.

North Central London Integrated Care Systems (NCL ICS)

At our practice, we are proud to be commissioned by the North Central London – Integrated Care System (NCL ICS), which oversees healthcare services for Islington patients. As of 2022, NCL ICS has replaced the old Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and is responsible for coordinating healthcare in five boroughs, including Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, and Islington, serving a population of approximately 1.6 million residents
As a trusted healthcare provider, we offer General Practice primary care services to our patients as part of the NCL ICS commission. Additionally, we are proud to provide enhanced services, including our drug and alcohol service, to meet specific needs within our community.
We encourage you to visit the North Central London – Integrated Care System website for more information about their important role, initiatives, and objectives. This integrated care system aims to improve healthcare outcomes and enhance the well-being of the population.
