Alert: New Blood Test Booking Service

Dear patients,
1. Don't forget to download the NHS App to your phone, you'll need it in the near future. Please also remember to activate your notifications.
2. Please create an account with SwiftQueue to arrange blood tests. You will need to print and take a hard copy of your test request with you to your appointment. Please only book your Blood Test appointment at River place, James Wigg or Hunter Street. If you attend anywhere else, you will not be seen.
3. NHS England has sent a number of our patients a Patient Survey questionnaire on how we are doing. Hopefully you will have noticed the positive changes and we request that as many of you as possible respond to the survey and share your experience with them. For more information on the changes, please read our newsletter. Thank you.
4. NHS England have also launched the pharmacy contraceptive service where women or girls of suitable age can obtain their regular contraceptive without having to go through their GP. This service will be free and GPs will be made aware of the pill provided through email or phone calls on the day Click here to register for SwiftQueue

Staff will assist you by offering appointments with other clinicians that may be able to deal with your type of query or signpost you to another quicker service. You can also self-refer to a growing number of services. For more information click on the Self-Referral Page!
