Dear Patients

The practice is now slowly returning to pre-pandemic working. There is still a high risk of transmission of the virus and we still recommend taking simple precautions, including wearing a face mark whilst at the practice.

We are now offering pre-bookable appointments, however please be advised that we may need to cancel appointments at short notice if staff are unwell and have to isolate.

Our phone lines can get very busy and we recommend that you call after 10 am for non-urgent issues when it is quieter.

If you need are concerned about your health, we are also asking all patients to use the eConsult online website or app in the first instance.

This service is open between 8am to 11am at this time.

Depending on your needs the software will signpost you to the most appropriate healthcare provider for your medical needs. Please visit econsult.net/ and follow the instructions.

If you need to see a GP, Nurse or other health professional, the system will send us an email and a member of the practice team will contact you as soon as they possibly can, dependent on staffing levels at the time.

We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone and our staff will do everything that they can within reason to help as many patients as possible based on the capacity that we have.

We are also no longer offering a walk-in service for patients, however are happy to still register new patients via this website.

If you need repeat medication, please email the practice in the first instance [email protected] and we will try and deal with your request. Please note your prescription will be sent to a Pharmacy and you will not be able to collect it from our Reception desk. You may get a call back from one of our Practice Based Pharmacists. Please make sure you give us a telephone number that we can easily contact you on.

Douglas Pharmacy will remain open as usual. Please note they may not have the medication in stock due to this national crisis. They are unable to offer you a delivery service at this time. Please call them on 020 7837 6861 before visiting them to confirm that stock is available.

Please only attend A&E as a last resort as they will be under immense pressure at this time.

We must also advice you that your hospital appointments and tests may also be cancelled by the Hospitals as they deal with essential or high priority cases at this time. There are also a number of industrial strikes taking place that may affect your appointment. If you have any concerns, please contact the hospital department directly.

Thank you for your understanding and for supporting the NHS and other emergency services. We also request that you reach out to people that live on their own, especially the elderly and provide assistance if safe to do so.
